 The Patient Family Support Association was established in April 2023, aimed at addressing the financial burden of cancer treatment. The diagnosis of cancer brings not only physical pain; we know that patients and their families also bear financial burdens comparable to the physical pain. However, there is currently no institution in Japan specifically addressing family financial issues. The Patient Family Support Association is a non-profit organization established by three financial planners to provide patients with daily professional financial advice.
