PharmaEssentia has long been committed to the field of rare diseases, particularly MPN (Myeloproliferative Neoplasms), and has identified unmet needs among patients in terms of diagnosis, treatment, and self-care. We fully support MPN patient groups in Taiwan by organizing health education seminars to enhance the healthcare standards for patients.   

MPN is a chronic condition that requires long-term monitoring of blood values and timely treatment to prevent life-threatening complications such as thrombosis and bleeding. PharmaEssentia partnering with the Taiwan Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Association (TMPNA), will be hosting the "Embrace Wellness with MPN" educational seminar in 2024, under the theme "Living in Harmony with MPN." The seminar will feature doctors, nutritionists, and patient representatives sharing their clinical treatment experiences, as well as nutrition and exercise advice for daily care. There will also be dedicated discussion sessions for patients and experts to exchange insights. Through these courses and interactions, we aim to enhance patients' understanding of the disease and their ability to manage it themselves.

We assist TMPNA in disseminating knowledge about MPN through various media platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials, to reach a wider audience. This not only enhances societal awareness of MPN but also underscores the importance of early detection and diagnosis, thereby improving treatment outcomes and patient survival rates. Our collaborative efforts with TMPNA address the challenges faced by MPN patients and their families while advancing medical progress in the field of MPN and promoting the well-being of the general public. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a healthy life and achieve physical and mental harmony.
