PharmaEssentia prioritizes aligning with its core business strategy as the key objective, marking the initial stride towards sustainable social engagement with a specific emphasis on addressing the needs of elderly and vulnerable populations in rural areas. In recent years, our steadfast commitment includes continuous sponsorship of the Wacare team, a non-profit organization under the Digital Humanitarian Association. Together, we have been spearheading a telehealth initiative in the resource-scarce regions of Taitung County, Taiwan. Leveraging cutting-edge AI digital technology and telehealth models, PharmaEssentia is dedicated to delivering a multifaceted suite of medical resources and services tailored for elderly populations in rural areas. This comprehensive offering encompasses digital environments, health application services, online courses, and expert consultations, ensuring that elderly individuals in remote communities receive holistic, timely, and personalized care and support.   

This year, we once again visited three rural aging health promotion centers, including Taitung Dementia Center, King's Community in Taimali, and Taiyuan in Donghe. This visit provided us with a profound insight into the phenomenon of societal aging and the challenges faced by rural areas in terms of health and social participation. Through concrete sponsorship initiatives and collaboration with other community resources, we are dedicated to cultivating a community that embraces healthy aging, bridging the health disparities in rural areas, promoting medical equality, and providing more compassionate and comprehensive support to vulnerable populations.   

Each year, our personal visits go beyond mere sponsorship; they represent a tangible expression of our genuine concern for society. In this environment of compassionate mutual assistance, elderly individuals in rural areas feel the support of the community. They not only receive physical care but also experience enrichment on a deeper, emotional level. This fosters improved interpersonal connections, enriching their daily lives, and instilling a sense of hope for life's journey.
